1200+ Jazz and Blues Vinyl LPs (BklynBooks Bulk Lot #129)
Check out our YOU TUBE VIDEO about LPs Jazz Bulk Lot 129 here!
15 boxes (13" * 13" * 13") of Jazz and Blues records, ~ 80 records per box (total weight ~ 1070 lbs)
Highly collectible
Includes boxsets, rare records, Asian pressings, and what looks like a private Duke Ellington recording (4 albums) Like all of our lots, this lot includes both rare and pricey items and more common, i.e. less valuable items. This is unavoidable because we assembly these lots from dozens of smaller purchases. Please see photos below!
Mostly in "very good" and "like new" condition with some items still sealed or in protective plastic covers
Absolutely no cherry picking, sold only as one bulk lot
The lot contains the set “The Greatest Jazz Recordings of All Time” in mint/new condition which retails on Ebay for $1,750, partly because the Franklin Society cut their own masters. The collection was curated from 1983-85 by the noted jazz critic and music scholar Dan Morgenstern. Morgenstern raided the Institute's collection for rare 78s and other obscure recordings that in some cases have been out of print for decades.
